DAY 20 – 4

Our last day at sea before our arrival in Alexandria, Egypt.

The days at sea seem to go so quickly.  Today was our ‘sport’ day.  Up on Deck 13/14 is a huge sport activities area with a basketball court also tennis court, 3 table tennis tables, a 9 hole putting golf course, roller skating and the rock climbing wall. We had two games of golf between the six of us today, Roy and I, Margaret and Brian and Linda and Wayne. What a laugh, we lost balls, hit them way too far and missed easy putts but had a lot of fun.  No-ones ball went into the ocean though. This is only one our our Olympic events planned for the six of us.  On our next sea day we are shooting basketball hoops.

The Beatles played their final concert tonight, unfortunately they get off in Alexandria tomorrow. The ship was rocking again to their music and we were all up dancing.

We have been advised that there are demonstrations expected in Cairo tomorrow so therefore the tours to Cairo have had to be cancelled.  The current situation will be updated tomorrow morning when we dock aso we may be affected as we have a tour booked to the Pyramids. Naturally the safety of everyone is paramount as far as the Royal Caribbean are concerned.
